A shocking incident of sudden violence at a gas station in Las Cruces, New Mexico is a good reminder that criminals are not very good at “social distancing.” Plus, you should always have the means to defend yourself on hand in case an illegal alien child kidnapper begins attacking everyone in sight.
None of the victims in this incident were armed, and the situation was becoming extremely terrible when an American hero arrived on the scene: A 16-year-old high school wrestler.
A surveillance video of the illegal alien child kidnapper’s attack is embedded below. Just to warn you ahead of time, there is some blood flying at the 2:00 mark. So, what happened?
A mother got off at the bus stop near the gas station with her baby in a backpack carrier and her 3-year-old in tow. The illegal alien attacker walks up to her and demands that the lady hand over her kids. This happens before the violence spills into the gas station in the video below.
What you don’t see in the video is when two female gas station attendants run to help as the mother begins screaming. You also don’t see the moment when this becomes a deadly force incident: The illegal alien knocks the mom flat on her back – as she has a baby in a backpack carrier (the baby comes out all right).
Basically, the illegal alien child kidnapper has punched every single woman in the video below, before the mother runs inside the gas station with her kids to try to get away with him. He’s still punching the gas station attendant ladies as he tries to force his way inside to get to the kids. The male bystander inside the gas station then haphazardly gets involved and as a result, “got his face caved in” according one of the attendants.
It’s pretty bad. That’s at the 2:00 mark in the video. Notice that the bystander makes the mistake that a lot of people make when they are faced with sudden violence: He doesn’t commit to combat. The illegal alien has already punched every woman in sight, and the male bystander then appears to be trying to reason with the guy and “talk some sense into him.” Even after the illegal alien starts punching him, he’s still just trying to push the guy away. He pays a heavy price for that complacency.
Shortly after a geyser of blood flies out of the bystander’s caved-in face, he scoots out of the store and leaves the illegal alien inside with the mother and her two small children that the illegal alien is trying to kidnap. Fortunately, that’s the moment when an American hero arrives on the scene.
16-year-old Canaan Bower heard the screaming and commotion from across the street. He sees the bloody bystander and distressed clerks and immediately walks inside the store. Canaan advances on the illegal alien and the next thing you know, he’s pinned the guy flat on his back and immobilized him.
Once Canaan has the guy down, the gas station attendant ladies then take the opportunity to get some revenge in on the guy. He had already punched them in the face, so they were obviously distressed. It’s hard to tell from the video, but it appears that one of the ladies gets in several vigorous gonad punches against the attacker, in addition to then hilariously smacking him in the face with a yellow plastic “Wet Floors” sign. You can’t really blame her and fortunately, the cops didn’t charge her with assault for smacking the guy numerous times after Canaan had already kicked his butt.
Speaking of the cops, it took them about six minutes to show up for this violent attack, which had already been disabled by Canaan Bower. Six people, including a toddler and a baby, were attacked inside of two minutes.
This whole incident has several important lessons for all of us.
First, don’t assume that because most people are being polite and cooperative right now because of the Chinese virus that criminals are taking a break from criminal-ing. This happened at a gas station at 9:00 in the morning.
Second, don’t be complacent if sudden violence comes upon you or those around you. Either escape or commit to the situation – but don’t stand there and wait for something bad to happen to you. The bystander froze up in a sort of “This can’t be happening to me” way. He never throws a single punch at the violent attacker who has already punched everyone in sight and nearly killed a baby.
Third, even a minimal amount of self defense training is better than none at all. Until Canaan Bower shows up to save the day, it looks like everyone in that gas station was in the “none at all” category. You don’t have to have a black belt in a martial art to protect yourself and others. Canaan Bower is simply a high school wrestler, he’s just 16 years old, but that’s more combat training than any other person in the video has, and it got the job done.
Fourth, an armed citizen could have put a stop to this from the very beginning, possibly without even firing a shot. But there weren’t any of those present.
