HOUSTON, TX – Two armed invaders got more than they bargained for when they decided to enter a 60-year-old woman’s home.
Police say that around 11:30AM two men entered the home uninvited through an open garage door.
After being startled by the two men the home owner retrieved her firearm and shot several times.
One assailant died soon after, while the other hopped a fence and got away.
“It’s the state of Texas, if you’re going to go into someone’s home, you’re going to get shot,” said Cathy Hanks, a neighbor. “That’s really how we are. That’s just Texas.”
