You have to give credit to mainstream media. No, really. Their focus, dedication and commitment are on full display and are rarely matched by professionals in any industry. The sheer effort required to portray the vision of America they want to convince you is true is beyond massive. And, they never waver. Sure, they make plenty of mistakes, but they never hesitate in their efforts.
If you were to believe even a fraction of their lies, you would be convinced that America is a lawless wasteland. The environment is trashed and unlivable; gunmen are on every street corner killing innocents in droves; the economy is irretrievable; and everyone is starving to death in their unemployment.
Sadly, many foreigners, even in our closest allied nations, believe this narrative because their only contact with the U.S. is through mainstream media.
Of course, you know better. The real truth is that armed citizens stop many more crimes than they commit. Concealed carry holders are the most law-abiding group in the nation. Combined, those two statistics lead to the final truth: armed citizens save hundreds of thousands of lives every year. You never hear about it, so you have to resort to reading about it here on the Internet and from alternative media sources.

It’s really sad that this Pastor had to go through this and even more sad the media has buried this story.
We need more stand up people like this. The media has an agenda and its gun control and so they will not show the good that comes in the form of safety like this. If we give in to what the media is screaming we all will become victims and no one to step in and help us.
Regarding your coverage of the Pastor not being covered by mainstream media. I heard and saw the coverage on the evening news on CBS. It wasn’t glossed over and seemed to be thoroughly covered. Your contend that armed citizens stop more crimes than they commit is a bit self serving, without any statistical data to support it. I am a believer that a man can bear arms but not every man should have the right to – criminals, the mentally challenged, psychologically diagnosed etc.- to them. However. In the quest of the political right, NRA members and others who doggedly promote their fear that their right to bear arms is being taken or will be taken from them reeks of paranoia. Please. In promoting the agenda remember to present pro and con equally, fairly and unbiased. You’ll find that you will garner more supporters that way than with fear,doom and gloom, and hate mongering.
