The anticop movement from the left seems to have lost steam. The NFL was leading the charge, but their dramatic revenue losses quickly changed their minds. Players are thinking twice before kneeling for the anthem.
On the other side, it seems there are fewer stories of BLM protests and liberal riots in response to events where police officers are forced to take civilian lives. They may have lost steam, but they haven’t completely abandoned the effort.
The truth is that the movement has motivated police forces to be extra diligent in recording their actions, and the extra video footage is silencing the left. Somehow, that still isn’t enough to keep them from trying to outright lie about events. Here’s their latest pile of nonsense.
Kyle Gray
You may have heard this story as it’s the latest source of liberal uprising. Gray was shot and killed by police in the Magnuson Park of Seattle last week. There have been protests and calls to action to cripple the Seattle police in any way possible. The left finds it completely unacceptable for police officers to defend their very lives, and the story of Kyle Gray shows how far they will take this narrative.
The Seattle Times published a piece covering the story, and the obvious bias is almost sickening. They quoted Gray’s mother (who wasn’t at the crime scene) who assured readers that Gray was unarmed. They went further to quote “concerned citizens” (who also weren’t there) voicing their general fear of the police. If you took the Seattle Times’ account at face value, you would have to assume the Seattle police are a roaming hit squad terrifying the population into submission.
The Real Story
Contrary to mainstream media bias, the true story paints a completely different picture. Kyle Gray was on probation after serving time for possession and abuse of controlled substances (namely heroin). He violated his parole by illegally obtaining a firearm. He then went with his girlfriend to commit armed robbery at the Northgate Mall. After leaving the mall, he and his girlfriend threatened and fired shots at the landlord of an apartment complex. It was after this that the police caught up to the pair. As they were arresting the girlfriend, Gray sped off in his car. A police chase ensued, and it culminated in Gray losing his life.
At this point, the two versions of the story sound like a he-said, she-said situation. Unfortunately for the social justice warriors, one side has definitive proof. The police released footage from three different encounters with Gray throughout the night. They include cellphone footage of Gray firing at the landlord, dashcam footage of Gray shooting at police during the car chase and bodycam footage of the final encounter.
There is no debate here. Kyle Gray shot at the police. They returned fire, and he was killed. The Seattle police are following procedure and investigating the incident, but the camera footage makes everything perfectly clear. This was a justified, and even necessary instance of police using deadly force.
Growing Desperation
This story tells us more about the left than anything else in recent news. Social justice warriors who watch indisputable proof of Gray shooting at the police are still trying to paint him as a martyr. This is right in line with the masses on the left who are openly complaining about tax cuts and how injecting money into the economy is sure to hurt job growth. They know how ridiculous this all is, but they have no other options. They are victims of the information age.
A few years ago, mainstream news was the only way to get information. Most Americans had no better option than to trust these resources. With the expanse of the internet and alternative media sources, the open deception that has plagued America for decades has been exposed. Raw data and irrefutable proof are silencing liberal claims on every topic, and now that they can be fact checked, there is nowhere left to hide. They simply tell louder and bolder lies in the hopes that we’ll be too lazy to notice.
Trump has stirred an awakening. Common sense is ultimately more powerful than the propaganda efforts of the left. They are fast spiraling out of control, and the results enable Republicans to fix tax law, scale back the damage of Obamacare, restore effective foreign policy and more. It’s an exciting time to be an American, but don’t let the slew of victories lull you into complacence. The left hasn’t given up, and they are more desperate than ever. Stay alert and their last-ditch efforts are sure to fail.

Dan, the truth supporters are all over social media supporting our officers and military. The entire justice system is there to uphold our constitutional rights. One right is to speak out your opinions. It doesn’t say that they have to be truthful, although it would be nice. Our constitution doesn’t say anything that these people have a right to be morons. It does give us the free will to make the self determination of what we believe. We need to get a louder voice to drown out the idiots that are spouting hatred and lies.
Why are charges not being pursued against news media that prints unverified news and incite civil unrest and violence? The mainstream media has become a propaganda outlet and should not be allowed to use news in their name!!!

I live in Tacoma and I can assure you the cops in Seattle don’t just shoot anybody they feel like that just more liberal bulls*it.
Without the brave men and women to literally put their lives on the line each and every day the world as we now know it would sink to an unrecognizable waste land where thugs rule and the helpless are set upon. Riots, rape, murder would be a day to day event. When you see a law enforcement officer thank them for being a hero that they truly are!

The media is so biased against truth and law that I don’t know how they get people to be police officers. Everyone that gets shot by police is portrayed as a saint by the press and the officer is vilified. I for one no longer rely or listen to anything said in the msm. God bless our police and military.

I am a former police sergeant. .. I wishe they had dash and body cams beck in the 60s. …we didn’t even have the little radios on our shoulder back then. .. Once yoi left the squad car, you werr on your own.
Things are a lot more complicated now. All officers need all the support we can guve them. Four the last three years I have had a sign in my yard to support all law enforcement . …. Police dpts need to sue papers that print lies.
