If a whole day went by without some hyped “new study” that promotes some left-wing nonsense, it should be marked on the calendar and made into our new, greatest holiday. These are the groups who have brought gems such as the existence of gender and racial bias in mathematical analysis, the needs to study the impacts of glaciers on women and the widespread belief that gender is not a matter of biology.
The reasons for these outrageous studies range from an innocuous pilfering of federal funds to advocating for the murder of babies. The one consistency you’ll find in all of them is that they fly in the face of common sense, and they usually require more mathemagic than mathematics in order to reach their deranged conclusions. Well, today we have a new one for you, and we aren’t letting it off the hook.
The Report
Since you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you don’t waste much time watching the likes of CNN or MSNBC. If you did (or were trapped in an airport or hospital recently), you would know about the latest study that shows schools are under siege.
It was compiled by the Department of Education, so there is the expectation that this study is credible. In it, the DOE looked at every type of violence afflicting our children while they’re at school. That seems like something worth investigating, so let’s see what they found.
For starters, they seem to think bullying is a huge epidemic. In fact, the study found that there are more kids being bullied than are enrolled in schools in the U.S. Some might suspect a statistical or methodological error, but the DOE stands behind their research.
But, it is comparably reliable data regarding school shootings that has the left in a roar. According to this masterwork of raw analysis, the DOE found that in the 2015-2016 school year, there were 240 separate schools that suffered from a school shooting.
The Unexpected Debunk
Now, that number might seem a little high to you. You might wonder why you didn’t hear about more than 200 of these shootings. You’re not alone. In fact, this number is so ridiculous that even NPR (yes, that NPR) had their doubts. So, they set out to verify the study.
Perhaps they wanted to add credibility to this number and push the gun-control debate. Maybe they’re actually sensible enough to know an outrageous claim when they see one. Regardless, they reported their findings.
NPR was only able to confirm 11 incidents that were reported by the DOE. If that was the whole story, it would be enough. You can’t have that level of inaccuracy through simple mistakes. This report is a clear fabrication following a political agenda.
What’s worse is that this isn’t the end of the report’s failures. Out of the 11 confirmed incidents, 4 didn’t meet official standards to be counted as a school shooting. That usually means that a gun might have been fired when no students were present. Regardless, we find that only 7 of the 240 reported shootings actually happened. That’s a margin of error of 3,429 percent.
Even more enlightening is reading the interactions NPR had with the schools they contacted. Most had no idea of the DOE claims and vehemently verified that there were no school shootings. In short, over 200 schools verified that the DOE report outright fabricated results.
Hijacking Science
If only this were the first time leftists hijacked data science to push an agenda. We’ve seen this so many times now that it’s more tiring than enraging. It’s been so prevalent that even Obama was sick of it. That’s why he banned the CDC from introducing any more propaganda studies.
That’s right. The “ban” on gun-control research that the left hates so much was proposed and signed by Obama himself.
That’s just concerning guns. If we were to count the instances where science was distorted and deformed in the name of gender studies, climate change alarmism and eugenics, we’d be here all day. Suffice it to say that the left wants to believe that they have science on their side.
What they actually have is a bunch of fabricated numbers, fake science and bold-faced lies. It’s why they continue to crumble in debate. It’s why leftist politicians haven’t put forth successful politics in many decades, and it’s why Trump is now President. As a nation, we can see through the bull, and we’re done with it.

Sounds like they used the ANTI GUN lobby method of calling something a school shooting. in simple terms if the schools is put in “lock-down” even its because of an incident over two miles away they call it a school shooting. The fact is many times overly paranoid or liberal run schools will go into “lock-down” if they just think there is something off even if no crime is committed.
Strange thing is there is a wiki page that actually lists all the actual school shootings that has happened on this continent even before the nation of America was founded and that still dos not come to 240 in fact the one thing it shows with clarity is the number of incidents per year INCREASED with each new gun restriction passed to “prevent” such crimes.
After all these restrictions do not effect criminals who break the law but did successfully DISARM anyone even close to the criminals intended victims reducing the times attempted shootings were stopped by CIVILIANS who lived or were near the school when the attempt was made.
So where is Betsy DeVos on all of this? after all, it came out on her watch! If she can’t control the lying bastards under her, the least she can do is read the crap they produce before it’s published, and if she did read it, she’s responsible for it. Clean house.
