Gun-Bearing McCloskeys Now Have Their Law Licenses Targeted

Remember the St. Louis husband and wife torched by the liberal media for protecting their home with guns on their front lawns after BLM protesters marched through their neighborhood and threatened to kill their dog? The media/BLM might have lost that battle, but they didn’t give up the fight to torture this couple. The McCloskeys are both lawyers, and now they are being persecuted by local government leaders to have their law licenses suspended in the latest sickening move from Democrats.

Mark and Patricia McCloskey, both lawyers in Missouri, have been the subject of attention in the state and nationwide over the June 2020 confrontation with BLM.

In court filings, Missouri Chief Disciplinary Counsel Alan Pratzel has asked the state’s Supreme Court to suspend their law licenses due to their guilty pleas to misdemeanors stemming from the incident, according to KCUR-FM in Kansas City.

“Mark McCloskey pleaded guilty on June 17 to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and was ordered to pay a fine of $750. Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty on the same date to misdemeanor harassment, with a $2,000 fine,” the NPR outlet wrote in a Twitter post published Monday.

They were pardoned by Missouri Republican Gov. Mike Parson, the post added.

Mark McCloskey pleaded guilty on June 17 to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault and was ordered to pay a fine of $750. Patricia McCloskey pleaded guilty on the same date to misdemeanor harassment, with a $2,000 fine.

The legal move against the McCloskeys could be seen as a political effort as well. Mark McCloskey is running in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate to replace Republican Sen. Roy Blunt, who plans to retire in 2022.

If he had his license suspended, it could give Democrats ammunition against him if he won the nomination.

The McCloskeys recounted the fear they felt as the boisterous protesters broke into their neighborhood and trampled down the streets next to their house, “They were going to come in there. They were going to burn down the house. They were going to be living in our house after I was dead, and they were pointing to different rooms and said, ‘That’s going to be my bedroom and that’s going to be the living room and I’m going to be taking a shower in that room.'”

What would you have done? The showing of a gun seemed like an appropriate defensive measure to dissuade the angry protesters from attacking them and making good on their threats.

Yet the couple was given $750 and $2,000 fines, respectively, but neither party faced any jail time.

“That’s what the guns were there for and I’d do it again any time the mob approaches me … In other words, I stood out on the porch with my rifle and make them back up. And that’s what I’d do again. If that’s a crime in Missouri, by God I did it, and I’d do it again.”

Sounds downright American, but to the woke mob of the left, you can’t have that – especially when the person is running as a Republican Senate candidate.

Instead, there has to be a hunt to take away someone’s livelihood and destroy a family and business to remain in power. If there was ever evidence the left’s agenda is pure evil, this is it.

Thankfully, the McCloskeys are still in the fight. We need more Americans like them, and leaders like them, if our nation has any hope of better days ahead.

  1. Please leave these people alone. They have a right to protect their property.

  2. THIS IS TOTAL HARASSMENT FROM THE BLM AND THE DEEP STATE! STAND YOUR GROUND!

  3. This is not the America we were brought up in. In the first place there were never mobs of scumbags running through the streets damaging people’s houses and burning down business’. We always had the right to protect our homes and families, and THAT is in the constitution. The one that should be disbarred and taken out of office is the rat bustard who is causing all this trouble for innocent American citizens. I remember when the D A was taken off the case because she was harassing this couple.

  4. There should be citizens like the McCloskeys on every street in the country

  5. By all means, leave them alone! All this harassment isanother way to scare the rest of us into not fighting back when attacked and bowing to the will of Communist activists. The Persecutor’s staff even altered evidence in order to fabricate another malicious criminal charge. The Persecutor should be sued for Malicious Prosecution.

  6. In as much I understand the whole episode is
as it is indeed a malicious persecution and persecutor should be sued and punished. I am surprised that this kind of persecution happens in our great country USA.

  7. When are the decent law-abiding White people going to get
ENOUGH of this Negro Shit and put the Black Bastards back where
they belong The Liberal FOOLs and their Negro Ass kissing has got us
to this point SO we can leave the USA and let the Apes have it OR
put them in their Place by repealing all this civil rights shit
If they riot cut them down They will get their minds straight

  8. When you can’t protect your family and home it is time for a revolution. The BLM thugs and Antifa are TERRORIST organizations and need to be treated as such. You don’t use rubber bullets on terrorists. You use live ammo. This is why St. Louis
has crime through the roof and law abiding citizens are targeted. Time to get rid of all the Soros appointed DA’s and prosecuting attorneys. When you have no laws you have anarchy and that is exactly where the idiots in the white house have led us.

  9. It’s becoming very clear. These people should have let that mob break into their home, then blown them away. They would not be dealing with any of this then. One step into the house, and their yours.

  10. The McCloskey’s did no wrong. 1st of all their guns had no ammo in them (as I read once) The scum who was threatening them should have been locked up immediately. Because of the perverted scum in the white house they are allowed to run free and turn America into a slum just like where they crawled out of. BLM & Antifa are anti-America and allowed to destroy it. The scum and pervert demon-rats are being paid big bucks to destroy America…but mark my words they will pay some day and be held for treason and shot by a firing squad or have a seat in the Rosenberg’s chair.

  11. Missouri allowed itself to be transformed into a toilet and snug home for democrat communists, now known as the government party. The end of these communist shenanigans began with defeat of Senator Claire McCaskill, an outspoken leader of the government party. Seems the state judiciary remains to punish conservatives.

  12. I would not be as nice as they are nor anywhere near as tolerant.

  13. I guess the state DemonKKKrats don’t understand what the word “pardoned” means….

  14. Please review the definition of brandishing. It’s against the law in many states and it appears to be what the McCloskeys are doing.
