Did you know that there are still people in this country who think MSNBC and Rachel Maddow are a good source for news? It’s crazy to think about, but people haven’t abandoned her after more than two years of debunked Russia conspiracy theories.
It’s absolutely maddening, but they’ll still make excuses and try to defend Maddow and her abysmal failures at journalism.
Her latest gaffe is somehow the worst of her career. Maddow spent ridiculous amounts of air time explaining how President Trump lied to the American people about responding to the coronavirus.
She alleged he lied about the two naval hospital ships, one going to LA, the other NYC, being ready to help hospitals in time. According to Maddow, the U.S. naval hospital ships Comfort and Mercy were weeks away from arriving.
Imagine her chagrin when both ships showed up in their respected harbors. The USNC Comfort arrived in New York’s harbor within hours of her making the complaint. She was as wrong as it is possible to be.
Did she make retractions? Did she issue apologies? No. She went right on with her fear mongering and lies. This person who is a prominent journalist in our country is a pure propagandist, and a bad one at that.
